ABOUT ME
I’m Claire Fulton, founder of Safe Futures Family Service, an experienced Independent Social Worker committed to improving outcomes for children and families through compassionate, evidence-based practice.
With over 20 years of experience working exclusively with children and families, I have supported parents and carers through some of the most complex and emotionally challenging circumstances, including family separation, parenting difficulties, domestic abuse, contact disputes, and child welfare concerns. Throughout my career, my focus has remained the same: ensuring that children’s voices are heard, their wellbeing is protected, and families receive the support they need to move forward safely and positively.
My professional background spans frontline social work, operational leadership, and strategic service development within Children’s Services. This experience has provided me with extensive knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, public and private law proceedings, parenting assessments, and family support interventions.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a Diploma in Social Work, an MSc in Social Work (Strategy and Leadership), a Diploma in Executive Coaching, and a Certificate in Systemic and Family Therapy. I am registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) and the Association for Coaching, and I remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice through continuous learning and development.
